Do you know someone who’d rather plan their wedding sipping something in the sunshine instead of sitting behind a computer screen? And no, this isn’t a trick question! Our bi-annual Wedding Showcases are quite literally a one-stop wedding planning + shop experience.
In August, 30+ locally loved vendors showcased their talents throughout the property, letting brides + grooms and their parties experience the natural beauty of The Meadows with catering and bar samples, live DJ’s, styled tables & ceremony sites, floral and makeup demonstrations, lawn games, and more! Basically, it’s like attending a Meadow’s wedding sans the stress of wedding-guest-getup.
Whether your wedding mood is DIY or you don’t plan on touching the design yourself, there was inspo and vendors for every type of love story. Spray painted babies breath stole the show in a bright geometric design & Australian-inspired floral ceremony towers took the altar design cake. If you’re looking for something unique and sustainable, our bridal suite was decked in locally grown and preserved dried floral arrangements - they are a totally fresh take on how to approach your wedding flowers!
We source our vendors thoughtfully and carefully, for qualities we know our clients can benefit from: creative, proactive, resourceful, sustainable, and collaborative are key components. We’re full of gratitude to everyone who brought their talent to our space, and to all of our attendees for constantly bringing their joy and individual inspiration to our space.
We hosted many of our return preferred vendors like Wedded Kiss, Greenhouse Picker Sisters, Warlick Media, HL Catering, Funky Fresh, Brewmasters, Pour, CKCreation Designs, and so many more! And while fostering relationships with wedding professionals around the triangle area is something we take to heart, we also love supporting the breadth of wedding design talent that exists here; these year we had incredible additions like Paint NC; 10 talented artists set up for a day of Plein Air painting, and demonstrated how incredible capturing your wedding with live painting can be. Callie, with The Foraged South, created our first hanging floral design from 100% foraged goods.
All attendees receive $500 off of a future wedding package and are automatically entered into a raffle for some prizes that made me wish I was eligible to win. From custom art prints by CKCreations Design to handmade macrame keychains, blowout gift cards and local craft beer, the winnings may have been reason enough to attend.
And in case you wanted cherries on top of your Two Roosters scoop, ticket proceeds benefit Triangle Land Conservancy - a local non-profit dedicated to preserving the spaces we all love! So, sip and support a good cause… is there a better way to spend a Saturday?
