FAQs at The Meadows
Q: When can I access The Meadows on my wedding day?
A: Your rental time will be outlined in your contract but our standard times are 11:00 am until 11:00 pm with your event ending at 10:00 pm due to noise ordinances within Raleigh. You may add early access to your wedding day at a rate of $400 per hour.
Q: Can we provide our own alcohol?
A: All alcohol must be booked through The Meadows bar at a starting rate of $7.75 per person per hour. You are allowed to bring your own alcohol for getting ready at both houses leading up to ceremony time.
Q: When are you able to schedule your rehearsal?
A: One hour of rehearsal time is included with your contract. Your rehearsal is scheduled 30 days from your wedding day based on our calendar availability.
Q: I would like to use my own caterer that is not on The Meadow's catering list. Am I allowed?
A: Our required catering list is in place to best serve you and your guests. It has been created with great care knowing that each caterer on the list has knowledge of the event industry, working experience at our venue and with large scale events. You are required to select from one of our caterers.
Q: Does The Meadows provide rental items such as plates, flatware, glassware, and linens?
A: We do provide 14 live wood edge tables that can seat up to 12 guests and do not require linens, 60" round tables, cocktail tables, and reception chairs. Plates, flatware, glassware, or linens are not included in our rental packages and will be secured through Curated Events with the assistance of our in-house planner.
Q: Do you allow pets on the property?
A: We love pets and they are welcome on wedding days! They must have a handler that supervises them at all times. They must be leashed and we do ask you provide their vaccination records before the event day.
Q: How late can we stay and party?
A: Your final song will be at 9:50 pm with a grand exit at 9:55 pm! Unfortunately, this is not our rule, but the music ordinance for the county we are in.
Q: What is the average budget for a wedding or event at The Meadows?
A: Wedding budgets can vary based on a number of factors and what's most important to you. The major component includes your guest count and your vision for the day. An average wedding of 140 guests at The Meadows requires $45,000 to $65,000.
Q: What are your booking requirements?
A: To secure your date at The Meadows we require a signed contract and a 40% deposit. Your remaining payments will be split evenly in increments of 30%, 20% and 10%.
Q: What services are included with our booking?
A: Our in-house planning company Timeless Events will include your planning package selected along with an estimated rental cost of your linens, plates, flatware, ceremony chairs, and glassware from Curated Events. We do this to make the planning process that much smoother, which means less contracts and minimizes payments to remember.
